Do I have to have a blog?
No, but you must have some kind of channel to publish your video on. Either a blog, website, or your own page on Facebook where you can show your videos to your audience.
The blog, website or page must be public so everyone can see it.
What blog platforms work?
All plaforms where you can paste embed tags in HTML code work with VideofyMe. Platforms like Blogspot.com, Tumblr.com, Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and many more. VideofyMe also works with Facebook and Twitter.
What kind of content is allowed?
Our three main rules are:
Create it yourself. Only upload content you have made.
Keep your clothes on. No pornography allowed.
Be kind. We don't like excessive violence or racism.
If you break the rules, your account may be terminated.
How much money can I make?
We all share the advertising revenue from your videos between us and you. How much you earn per video view depends on how much advertisers pay us for their campaigns.
We work all the time to maximize the amount you earn as a blogger.
What video formats can I upload to VideofyMe?
Almost all video formats work with VideofyMe.
3GP, ASF, AVI, DV video, Flash, FLV, MOV, MP4, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, Ogg, RealMedia, WebM and many others.
What length, weight and quality do you support?
You can upload videos that are maximum 10 minutes in length, 1000 Mb in weight and of any quality you like.
We encode all videos uploaded to two standard formats playable on all computers and mobile phones that can handle Flash video or HTML5 video.
Uploading doesn't work
There can be numerous reasons to why your upload doesn't work. Check your internet connection and try again. Also make sure you don't have any spyware or virus on your computer that stops your uploads.
You can also try uploading your video through our mobile apps and see if that works better.
How do I publish videos to my blog?
There are two ways to publish a video to your blog or website.
Either copy the embed code of your video and paste it in HTML mode on your blog or website. Exactly how depends on what platform you use. You can get the embed code either from the email you recieve when uploading a video or directly from our website.

How do I set up instant publishing?
Go to ýour settings and choose instant publishing.
Make sure the url to your blog or website is correct.
Choose the platform you use and enter your login name and password.
Click Test and save to see that it works.
Now everytime you upload a video using the website or mobile app you can instant publish your video directly to your blog using just one click!
Publishing to social media
By copying the url to one of your videos you can easily publish your video to Facebook, Twitter and other social media.
In the player itself there is also a share functionality to share the video directly on your Facebook feed, Twitter, Tumblr or through email.

All Apple devices with iOS 4.0 or later. Which means most iPhones, iPads and iPod touch models.

How do I put a widget on my blog?
Go to our widget page and edit your widget to your preferences. Get the widget code and go to your blog or website. Depending on what platform you use and what widget you choose paste the widget code in a suitable place in HTML mode.
If you choose the sidebar widget paste it in your sidebar.
If you choose the Web-TV widget paste the code on a page with a lot of traffic, like your websites homepage or a subpage called Web-TV.
How much money can I make?
Lots.
What are the requirements to get paid?
You must tell us about you and your blog by filling in the form when you login. You must also confirm your email address and upload at least one video.
Also make sure we support advertising in your country or the country your audience are in. If we don't send us an email asking us to.
When am I paid?
On the 25th of each month, you get paid for last month's video views if you earn more than EUR 50. If you do not reach at least EUR 50 the money is transferred to next month.
How do I get paid?
You'll be paid to the bank account you specified in your settings.
What about taxes?
You are responsible for paying the tax according to the laws in your country.
